Join St. Lawrence

Registration is the official way for you to join a parish community like St. Lawrence.  Many times, people think that because they attend a certain church on weekends and holydays, they are automatically members of that church.  Sometimes, young adults who have moved away think they are still registered under their parents. 
Other times, people think that since they received their sacraments at a certain church, it automatically makes them a parishioner.  Unfortunately, this is not the case. 

Registration at St. Lawrence, or any parish, requires signing up and formally enrolling as a parishioner.  Registration is a commitment to a community, a way to be included in the activities of your parish.  Registration shows you belong!  It is also necessary for certain benefits like scheduling sacraments (weddings, baptisms, etc…), obtaining sponsor certificates to be a Godparent or confirmation sponsor, getting tuition assistance if your child attends Catholic school and getting donation statements for tax purposes.  Most importantly, it is a statement of faith and confidence in the life and work of your parish.  Together, we are a band of joyful, missionary disciples, unleashing the Gospel and spreading God’s word!

Please stop by the office during the week or after any weekend Mass.  Registration takes just a few moments of your time.  We would be happy to have you as part of our community!
